When running in my local, Wasatch Mountains, coming upon a spring emerging out of the rock or mountainside is a joy and source of refreshment. I want to be that type of energizing resource for those seeking their own healing and new, refreshing outlook on life. From processing complex trauma to athletic goals such as running 100 miles, I am here to help my clients with their goals. Wherever you are on your journey, my desire is to provide tools needed to grow and become a happier, well-balanced you.
Dolores Michael, LMFT, EMDR certified
As a licensed therapist, I use evidenced-based treatments grounded in current neuroscience research. I focus on treating the whole neurological system; that includes both the mind and the body. I believe that every person is unique, and so my treatment follows my client’s needs, building on each person’s capacity to heal and grow.
Along with being a therapist, I am a wife and mother who loves to play in the outdoors. You will most likely find me trail running, but I also enjoy cross-country skiing, paddle boarding, canoeing, whitewater rafting, backpacking, or travelling/exploring. I grew up in Texas, met my husband rock climbing in Colorado, backpacked across Europe, and moved to Utah after living in the Pacific Northwest.
